Mass Academy offers several STEM-related programs for students in sixth through eighth grades. Each program aims to inspire and challenge high-achieving, motivated students; some are offered during the school year, while others take place over the summer.
This Summer all programs are being offered in-person by Mass Academy staff and students; each session runs Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Summer Program Registration will close on June 7, 2024. Limited spots available.
Sessions may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Refunds will be provided if a session is cancelled by Mass Academy. A partial refund of $200 will be issued to those who cancel by June 7th.

Computer Science Quest Summer Program

Computer Science Quest is a fun and engaging summer program for rising 6th – 8th graders who are looking for challenges in logical thinking, computing, and technology. Under the supervision of the program director and alongside Mass Academy students, participants will build games, program Lego robots, create a 3D model, and explore mobile application development. Attendees will also create a story, program pixel art and animations, and develop digital music. In addition, students will learn about binary representation, encoding and decoding secret messages, and how RGB (Red-Green-Blue) values are used in displays.
Computer Science Quest is open to students entering grades 6, 7, and 8.
- Monday, July 22, 2024 – Friday, July 26, 2024 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (drop-off occurs between 8:30 am – 9:00 am)
- Cost $425 (t-shirt included)
- Snacks will be provided; students should bring lunch
