Mass Academy Holds Annual Day of Diversity
On Friday, January 28th Mass Academy juniors celebrated the school’s annual Day of Diversity. Students wrote and illustrated six-word essays explaining their views on race, ethnicity, and identity; viewed the documentary, Twilight Los Angeles; partook in a potluck lunch; shared the history of their families with the grade; and gave artistic cultural performances and demonstrations. This Mass Academy tradition offers a fun means of celebrating our diverse backgrounds, building community, and experiencing different cultures.
